Intensive Couples Retreats

Are you and your partner in need of some time to leave the world behind and focus on building and strengthening your relationship, or healing disconnection? River Christian Counseling will soon be offering destination Intensive Couple Retreats, which consist of concentrated, personalized couples therapy in a private, comfortable office setting from a remote location.

Each therapy retreat will be customized to fit your needs, and are generally held over two consecutive days. The cost of an Intensive Couple Retreat is typically $3000, for a total of ten clinical hours spent with your therapist. Lodging and meals are not included, and should be planned accordingly by each individual couple.

The overall idea of our Intensive Couple Retreats is to give you a 'crash course' in couples therapy -- with 10-hours of therapy over 2-days' time, for example, that would otherwise be stretched out over 10 weeks with individual in-clinic sessions. The retreats allow you to receive your dedicated, intensive therapy from  a professional location in beautiful St. Petersburg, Fl., rather than “from home”. And when you’re not in therapy, you can schedule your own relationship-building activities throughout the area, and fully enjoy and take advantage of your time away — together.
